In season 3 of You, Love and Joe are married and living in the fictional Californian neighborhood of Madre Linda with their infant son, Henry. As the nature of their relationship changes, Joe keeps repeating the cycle of infatuation with a growing fascination for Natalie Engler, the neighbor. This time, Love reverses the narrative to make sure Joe's obsessive behavior will only shatter her goal of having the ideal family.

Episode 1: "And They Lived Happily Ever After"

With their new son Henry, Love and Joe are overburdened, which strains their marriage. Joe struggles to connect with Henry. Their friend Natalie Engler, a real estate agent and the spouse of successful computer tycoon Matthew Engler captures his attention.

Episode 2: "So I Married an Axe Murderer"

On Dr. Chandra's couch, Joe and Love discuss the difficulties in their marriage in code. However, they are actually debating their terrible quarrel about Love killing someone in the apartment complex where she had just secured a three-year contract. Joe is equally indignant, humorous, and self-pitying as he removes Natalie's body.

Episode 3: "Missing White Woman Syndrome"

As news of Natalie's disappearance spreads, Joe and Love decide to accuse Matthew of killing her. They hide Natalie's bloody scarf inside his house. Henry gets measles and is sent to the hospital right away. When Joe breaks into the Englers' house, he also finds that he has measles and collapses.

Episode 4: "Hands Across Madre Linda"

Gil is imprisoned in the bottom of the bakery's Plexiglas vault by Joe and Love. Joe and Love look for incriminating evidence they may use as pressure for Gil's quiet. This is after realizing they cannot free Gil without guarantees that he won't disclose the assault. The private investigator employed by Love's family reveals how Gil's son is a serial rapist connected to a recent assault charge on a college campus.

Episode 5: "Into the Woods"

Love has gladly integrated into Madre Linda's way of life six months after Gil's passing. Sherry is her best friend, the bakery is a success, and she looks gorgeous. Joe, in contrast, is entirely apathetic and fixated on his grass. He needs friends, and his performance in the bedroom could be better.

Episode 6: "W.O.M.B."

When Joe starts looking into Marienne's personal life, he learns that she is a recovered addict who is engaged in a contentious custody dispute with her ex-husband, local news reporter Ryan Goodwin. Later, at the library, he breaks up a fight between Ryan and Marienne, but Marienne corrects him.

Episode 7: "We're All Mad Here"

I feel bad for Theo. Who wouldn't be in shock if Love deliberately undressed in front of her room window after ignoring your texts? She refers to Joe having issues and wants Theo to see what his father has against them. That's a bit apparent, but Theo says he'll look into it.

Episode 8: "Swing and a Miss"

Joe supports Love's desire to go out with the Conrads. He hopes that it will reveal their marriage to be unfaithful and free him to seek a romance with Marienne.

Episode 9: "Red Flag"

A stressful 47 minutes begin with Joe's evaluation at the beginning of the show. He strives to keep one step ahead of his spouse and their adversaries. Cleaning the house while Love decides how to handle the Conrads, Joe discovers a pistol in Cary's suitcase. He tucks it inside his belt while cracking a Chekhov joke; bless him.

Episode 10: "What Is Love?"

Joe has a positive outlook on the future. He is accompanying Marienne on her long-dreamed-of getaway to France. He only needs to take care of Theo's body and evade Love.
