When Dale is going to throw away the ring, Ellen asks him to retain it and asks him to teach her more. They appear to be the ideal assassin duo who consider themselves to be executioners.

Back in the present, Ellen and Dale are escorting Peter and Rose to the White House as per orders. Ellen wants to engage in a high-speed automobile chase, but Dale informs her that Peter's car has a tracker, ensuring their safety.

Rose is advising Peter on how to tackle the situation when he reports to Farr and the President while they are going to the White House. Peter wants her to stay outside and take care of the driver while he goes inside and gives the President a report. He hopes she would take his advice and provide Rose with more security. The assassins realize they are being watched and temporarily retreat after realizing they are being followed.

Cisco is unhappy when Peter brings Rose to him because it ruins his plans for a date. He cancels his date, though, and decides to remain with Rose instead. Rose and Peter arrange a meeting site, and she cautions him to use caution. During their meal together, Cisco and Rose discuss Peter. Peter has gone through a lot, and when he needed aid, Zoe left. Cisco is in shock that he opens himself to Rose because he usually keeps things private.

While waiting outside Cisco's home, Dale informs Ellen that she might be right about their impending pregnancy. Ellen acknowledges that she is wrong and that he has a valid point when he can’t rear a child.

When receiving an update on Maddie's kidnapping, Erik and Arrington begin their investigation of the Professor's home. He didn't give it much thought until he learned how severe the situation was. Arrington blames herself for ignoring the signs when she gets to the professor's residence. But, Erik tells her Maddie screwed her up. He is informed by Arrington that locating Maddie is more important than finding her. Arrington recognizes a pattern in the paintings from Maddie's chamber and they discover images of Maddie and the rattlesnake tattoo artist.

As Ben arrives on the scene, he orders Erik to take charge, but Erik demands that Arrington stay behind to aid in the investigation. Ben regrets that Arrington lost Maddie and accuses her of losing control of her emotions. Although Arrington is mad that Erik told Ben about her tactics, that is currently the least of her concerns. Arrington expresses regret for her first attitude to Erik and is informed by him that they ought to be partners.

She recalls a useful tip and looks through Maddie's belongings. They come across a flyer for the environmental advocacy group the professor founded. On the website's social media platforms, they can also locate a photo of the person with the rattlesnake tattoo.

The Night Agent is streaming on Netflix.
