The episode opens with a couple arguing in an alleyway. The woman leaves and returns to find her boyfriend on the ground, his throat slit. A shadowy figure offers to help her, then reveals a clawed hand.

Hannah recovers from her gunshot wound. Although Abbi reassures her that Dr. Sarkov is working on a cure, Hannah has her doubts.

Juan and Tilda are excited about Sarkov's cure. A news notification about "The Terror of Tacoma" interrupts their conversation. The group investigates the crime scene.

Dr. Crain has Dr. Burke in an underground lab. Crain requests that Burke cure herself to prove the value of her synthetic stem cells. Isabel Finch is making that difficult.

Tilda reunites with PJ. He is happy to hear news of a potential cure. A figure in a hoodie stalks the van.

Abbi goes to the catatonic woman from the opening. She takes a used bandage as a sample. Tests find a powerful neurotoxin in the woman's wound.

Juan and Darcy disagree about Sarkov's cure. When Darcy leaves, the Terror approaches her. While Juan fights the Terror, he gets wounded and injected with the neurotoxin. After this incident, Darcy leaves him.

Tilda gets news that PJ has died in an accident. A sample from his body confirms neurotoxins in his system. Tests also confirm that the Terror is Nate. He's targeting the trio's loved ones as revenge.

Dr. Sarkov finishes the cure. Abbi calls Hannah, only to hear Nate kidnapping her. The trio decides to trade the cure for Hannah's life. The cure works on Nate, turning him human again. He offers Dr. Crain the cure.

The trio goes to save Hannah, who is trapped on a roof. In retaliation for PJ's death, Tilda calls Nate and uses her banshee powers to kill him.
