When their commander Nate appears as a victim named Maxwell, the superhuman trio stumbles onto the den of three renegade scientists while looking for Sarkov. 

They intend to experiment on the three and then offer Flux, a fictitious government agency, the results.

Tilda, Abbi, and Juan use their supernatural abilities to kill the terrifying encounter's victims and flee. Meanwhile, Finch brutally murders two scientists named Lindt and Yake with Hannah's assistance while Hannah is blind to Finch's terrible deeds.

Juan has injuries and finds himself in his brother Alejandro's house in Portland as Flux agents posing as police officers search for the group. In front of his niece Paloma, Juan assumes the appearance of the Chupacabra. When agent Sampson confronts him, he violently chews off his nose. 

At Burke's residence, things take an even more dramatic turn when Owen arrives flaunting his "superhero" complex, which is the result of too much copper in his body. Hannah is made aware of Finch's actions as she is discovered trying to watch Burke's home.

As Sarkov tries to kill Zoe, another of his victims, who has spontaneously absorbed electricity and exploded, Tilda and Juan hunt him down. 

Tilda and Juan persuade Sarkov to return to Burke's house in order to discover a cure after they have rescued him from the town mob led by Zoe's mother and saved the lives of Zoe and her mother. 

Hannah aids in the capture of Finch, who transforms back into Burke to everyone's complete horror.
