Leia and her friends debate whether or not to smoke pot at the beginning of That '90s Show episode number two. Ozzie has been cut out of the equation and does not wish to be involved. The youth exhibits questionable behavior and drug use. Leia volunteers to grab some raisin bran as they begin to get hungry.

Red brings in his first crop from his indoor garden, just a cherry tomato, as Ozzie & Kitty are conversing upstairs. He is made fun of by Ozzie and Kitty, then Leia arrives with some bran flakes for her buddies. Leia begins to cry when Kitty explains that they have run out of raisin bran.

She begins to misbehave, the cannabis takes effect, and she imagines her grandparents as characters in video games. Leia discovers her friends in Red and Kitty's room at the moment, and the kids begin playing with the clothes there. Kitty summons the kids later, but Red is unhappy and sends them away.

Red cautions Leia of her friends returning to the house after they have left. On the other side, Kitty requests that Leia invite them over the following night for a movie. Sherri, the mother of Gwen and Nate, visits the Forman residence the following morning to get to know her neighbors.

She addresses herself to Red and Kitty and explains that she is a single parent who recently moved into Donna's old home with her two children. Sherri claims to be seeing someone, yet she is parenting two grown people while barely scraping by. After dating for two weeks, she informs Kitty that her new lover is interested in moving in with her.

Leia picks a goofier film like "Free Willy" when she and Kitty finally make it to the cinema to rent a film for her pals to watch. By chance, Jay, who works at the cinema, claims that Clerks remains his favorite film.

Leia obtains the man's address and persuades her grandma to visit him to obtain the DVD for the movie. At the same time, Sherri settles down and offers to take a bath at the Forman residence. Red and Nate attempt to converse and become closer. Leo, Eric's aging acquaintance, turns out to be the person renting the movie when Kitty and Leia first encounter him.

Leia and Kitty successfully persuade him to give them the movie at the end of the frantic conversation. Red lashes out at Kitty when she returns home because she has caused so much upheaval in their lives. Kitty admits that she enjoys entertaining children.

Surprisingly, when Kitty and Red arrived, Sherri was still taking a shower in the bathroom. She says she had time to reflect while she waited in the restroom. Kitty is happy that the woman desires to improve her life because she was planning to break up with her date.

The video DVD ends out to contain footage of Leo's MTV host audition, which makes things uncomfortable at the basement movie night. Leia runs out of the room since her preparations to host the ideal movie night have fallen through. Following her, Gwen asks Leia what's wrong.

Leia explains that she chose not to have them see her favorite nerdy movie because she felt like an outcast and desired to feel more like part of the group. Gwen comforts Leia, who tells her that she needs to feel good about herself and not worry if others think she's a nerd.

When Leia chooses to show her pals her favorite film, her companions begin to cry as the film draws to a close. After Red lends Nate one of his flannels, the two attempts to restore their friendship. Red objects when Nate requests if he can call him "Uncle Red," but he nevertheless does it.

Season 1 of That ‘90s Show is now available for streaming on Netflix.
