When her case involving Emil Blonsky dominates national headlines, Jennifer Walters attracts unwanted attention. To add, there have been a lot of criticisms about She-Hulk as a superhero.

In a scene, Jennifer realizes Emil's escape was made possible by Sorcerer Supreme of Mystic Arts, Wong. When he teleports over to Jennifer with Nikki's assistance, he says that he's the cause of Emil's escape.

Wong was seeking a respectable adversary to train with and battle. Jennifer is rightfully unhappy about this news, but Wong consents to testify in court as a significant witness.

When the time for the court hearing comes, Wong is tardy. While Emil's numerous lovers wait impatiently and expect to see him soon, Jennifer calls forth additional witnesses to buy him some time.

The court finds the scenario strange and is not convinced that Emil has changed. When Wong finally shows up and discusses the escape, Emil chooses to demonstrate his command over Abomination.

He changes in front of everyone, briefly provoking terror but demonstrating his point. He doesn't really attack or seek to flee, even as the Abomination.

The lawsuit goes in Jennifer's favor; Emil is freed on the condition that he never again transforms into the Abomination.
