Last Seen Alive follows the story of Will (Gerard Butler), who is trying to find his estranged wife, Lisa (played by Jaimie Alexander) after she suddenly disappears from the gas station.

It all starts while Will fills the gas, and Lisa decides to walk inside to get water. And that is the last time Will sees his wife. After searching the station in vain, he notifies the police.

A detective named Paterson (Bill Hornsby) gets in charge of the case. However, Will soon realizes he cannot wait for the police, so he decides to search for his wife by himself.

Butler takes center stage in the movie as it shows him in a much different light compared to his other action-driven characters. The antagonists (drug dealers) also have a motive; a ransom of $2000.

The entire cast plays their parts satisfactorily, including Bill Hornsby (Detective Paterson) and Jaimie Alexander (Lisa), who did not get much screen time. Without a doubt, director Brian Goodman managed to maintain the tension until the end of the movie by giving viewers no hint or clue about Lisa's whereabouts or what happened to her.

Finally, one of the kidnappers tells the detective where Lisa is, after which Will and the detective go to that location. While Paterson is checking a hole, Will begins investigating a strange noise from a shed where he finds her tied up but alive.

If you would like to see the movie, you can watch it on Netflix and enjoy all the tension and the satisfying ending it provides.
