Subsequently, Marco makes a generous donation at a gay bar in honor of Pride. In conversation with Dizmal, he contemplates the commercial exploitation of Pride by corporations. Dizmal cynically comments that Pride has lost its original meaning.

Receiving a message from Parker to swing by his place, Marco is prompted by Dizmal's assumption about him dating Ben, to reconsider his secretive relationship with Parker. He decides it's time they took their relationship public and confronts Parker about it. They decide to take their relationship to the next level and agree to go on a proper date.

The following day, despite Chad's investigation failing to identify the leaker, he remains optimistic that there won't be a repeat incident. The team contemplates ways to maintain the campaign buzz and promise to deliver a hit despite the earlier-than-planned exposure.

A brief elevator encounter with his mother leads Marco to reveal his dating plans with Parker. His mother seems pleased and interprets their dinner plans at a fancy steakhouse as a sign of Parker's serious intentions.

On the other side, Ben grapples with his feelings over a shared kiss with Marco, with Britt encouraging him to take a leap of faith. Meanwhile, Britt and Venetia experience some tension in their professional relationship due to Venetia's excessive notes on the Pride palette project. This strain leads to a discussion about the boundaries between their personal and professional lives.

The campaign's prescreening panel begins, and to Marco's surprise, Dizmal is part of it. Despite initial fears that Dizmal's critique might harm their campaign, the panel gives glowing reviews, deeming it a success.

Despite the campaign's success, doubts arise about the clarity of its message and intentions towards the LGBTQ+ community. These concerns grow after receiving similar feedback from Teddy and Mykynnleigh.

Upon leaving the prescreening, Ben encounters Dizmal, who inadvertently spills the beans about Parker's existence. Unaware of Parker, Ben feels deceived and used by Marco.

Meanwhile, Chad enlists Julie's help in his investigation into the leak. Despite their past disagreements, they agree to put their differences aside and focus on the case.

Marco's evening takes a turn when Parker cancels their date due to a supposed back injury. However, Marco later discovers that Parker lied, leading him to end their relationship.

In parallel, as Marco grapples with his romantic troubles, Chad and Julie continue their investigation. In their interactions, Chad expresses his insecurities about his relationship with his mother, suspecting the culprit has been in plain sight all along.

The next morning, Chad asks Julie to keep their previous conversation confidential, which she agrees to. Chad confronts his mother, Madolyn, about the leak, and she defends her actions, affirming her trust in herself.

Venetia attempts to solidify her commitment to Britt by presenting her with the first batch of her organic Pride palette, to Britt's delight.

As the episode draws to a close, Marco's invitation for an outing is rejected by Ben. A turn of events occurs when Madolyn declares that the entire campaign must be redone, despite the time constraints.

The episode draws attention to the underlying tension between Chad and his mother, Madolyn, hinting at the need for open communication. Also, the dynamic between Britt and Venetia reminds us of the importance of distinguishing between work and personal relationships. Lastly, Marco's decision to end his relationship with Parker and the potential for a romantic connection with Ben piques interest for future episodes.
