Meanwhile, Madolyn encounters a stranger in the elevator, exchanging pleasantries. Upon reaching her office, Marco greets her warmly. Madolyn presents her innovative concept for the company's new gondolas, aiming to make a statement. However, Chad questions the financial feasibility of her plans.

Chad also probes Venetia about her decision on Marco's employment. Venetia reveals her support for Marco and her readiness to assist him. Failing to sway Venetia, Chad turns to his mother for approval on the Vendemiaire agreement, hoping for a financial boost.

Venetia boldly questions Madolyn about Marco's role in the company, fearing replacement. Madolyn assures Venetia about her job security and acknowledges the potential of a promotion. Venetia agrees to mentor Marco in anticipation of her promotion.

In the midst of this, Marco encounters a hiccup with his gym membership, mistakenly charging his mother's credit card. Marco attempts to cross paths with Parker at the gym. Parker challenges Marco's mixed signals, encouraging him to clarify his intentions. Despite the casual playfulness, Marco's interest in Parker is evident.

Venetia calls Marco away from a casual conversation with Ben, offering some advice. She counsels him to stop beating around the bush with Parker and to step up at work. Accepting the challenge, Marco decides to improve the company's social media presence.

Despite Madolyn's initial skepticism towards the Vendemiaire deal, she concedes to give it consideration after a one-on-one meeting with the company's representative, Mykynnleigh. Chad continues to voice his concerns about Marco to Venetia and attempts to manipulate Marco into persuading Madolyn for the deal. Marco, however, remains unaffected.

Following her day with Mykynnleigh, Madolyn fears losing creative control with the deal. Meanwhile, she crosses paths again with the stranger from the elevator, James, who invites her out. Despite her driver's reservations, Madolyn agrees.

Later, Marco posts a video of Madolyn on social media which doesn't garner much attention. Venetia recommends he relaxes and invites him to a themed party at a local gay bar. Marco agrees and is joined by Britt and Ben. Chad remains at the office, plotting against Marco by posting an embarrassing photo of Madolyn, hoping to implicate Marco.

At the bar, Marco befriends Dizmal, the club host. The evening takes a turn when Marco discovers the embarrassing post, suspecting Chad as the perpetrator. His friends urge him to devise a damage control plan.

Madolyn's date with James goes well, prompting her to ask him for advice. She exchanges numbers with James, leaving Teddy, her driver, impressed.

Upon realizing his job is in jeopardy, Marco ends his night out. After a conversation with his mother, Marco formulates a plan to turn the situation around. The following day, Marco manages to portray the embarrassing post as an audacious move, earning a comment from Michelle Obama. Madolyn forgives Marco, but her trust is slightly tarnished.

Chad receives a blow when Madolyn calls off the Vendemiaire deal. He finally admits the company's dire financial state, inviting Mykynnleigh for a detailed discussion.

Meanwhile, Ben confesses to Britt about his hesitations. Unlike Ben, Marco seizes the moment and successfully asks Parker out. The episode leaves us excited for Marco's date and Ben's potential move, along with concerns about the company's financial woes and Chad's growing resentment towards Marco.
