After having a nightmare about running across the cornfields, Suzanne awakens at the start of Devil in Ohio episode four.

She has been reading "The Cult of the Cult," which is most likely contributing to her disturbing nightmares. She has been preoccupied with the entire Mae scenario, which is regrettably affecting her performance at the hospital.

When Suzanne mentions Amon County, Dr. Hawkins quickly hangs up the phone and says they need to meet in person. Dr. Hawkins returns Suzanne's call to talk about Mae's pentagram.

Dani is not exactly happy about her mother spending so much time with Mae.

Apart from the fact that the Amon community has been isolated for roughly a century, not much is known about them, it seems. Additionally, they call themselves "Sliocht a Diabhail," which translates to "The Devil's Own" in Gaelic. Nobody ever leaves their community, thus Mae's departure puts a massive target on her back and perhaps also that of those who have taken her in.

Hawkins determines that Suzanne ought to look for anyone else who might have escaped. She panics about a white van on the way home and nearly flips the car.

Detective Lopez is still looking into the property when he sees several individuals going into the back of a white van and driving away. He follows, taking him by himself deeper into the woods. He observes the white van parked next to another one. While frantically taking pictures, he begins to sketch out what this group might be concealing. Those weird symbols seem to be "wish makers," which are offerings to the Devil.
