Amazon’s Bosch season 1 episode 6, A Legacy of Intrigue and Suspense, begins with detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) looking over the crime scene where Irvin Irving’s son has been killed.

As he ponders the event, his partner Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) asks if this was an assassination attempt on Irving and how that relates to the other crimes they are investigating.

Main Events in the Episode

The interesting unfolding of events makes this season to be viewed as the forerunner of Season 2. It all points out that Bosch will be performing more investigations in the coming season.

A Legacy of Intrigue happens when Darnell Jackson paid Bosch a visit. This scene not only provides great character development for Bosch but it also helps paint a clearer picture as to why he takes such extreme measures throughout his investigation.

Bosch: Season 1 Episode 6 Review

His conversation with Darnell definitely shows us how much his family means to him, which makes you to understand that he won't stop until justice is served. There's no way he'll let these corrupt cops get away with their crime if it means endangering his family!

Conclusion

Bosch’s world is full of dangerous criminals, but perhaps none so menacing as his family. It’s impossible to watch The Black Echo without thinking about all we don’t know about Bosch—like why he left the police force, and whether or not he ever saw his father again.

Just when it seems like those questions might be answered, Bosch has another explosive run-in with Julia Brasher that raises more questions than answers. This twist is a great moment of speculation to many fans. Is it possible that Brasher was responsible for Bosch leaving his family?
