As the third episode of Beef begins, George and Amy are in couples counseling. George opens up and admits that he has been struggling since their argument and her remark about his lackluster sexual appeal. Pictures that her parents used to repress their emotions and all of their tensions spilled out in one burst of violent rage. Amy feels she has inherited her parents' traits, but she is also figuring out how to handle them. George considers that to be a turning point in their procedure.

Danny's truck won't come clean of the white paint. Paul keeps talking to Amy because he still thinks she is a natural person. Danny is poised to go off in vengeance for what's transpired.

Paul is in his own Zen mode and has set up a meeting with Kayla, Amy’s fake profile. Naomi advises Amy to go and butter up Jordana as she has not followed up on her offer to buy Amy’s business. Danny decides to visit the church, Living Glory, that Veronica told him about. He feels that perhaps that is his last chance to find happiness.

It turns out to be a cathartic experience for Danny as he breaks down while the church band sings Hallelujah. Jordana’s meeting with Amy goes quite well. Even though she says that the deal looks great on paper Jordana insists she and Amy must get to know each other better. She is using the deal as leverage.

Danny is greeted by Veronica and Edwin, who reassures him about his breakdown. They assert that it is entirely typical and frequently occurs. Danny tries to come up with an excuse when Veronica inquires about his return date. She requires him to complete a welcome form, implying that Danny might be persuaded to return.

Amy speaks to George, who helps her feel better. He mistakenly sends a screenshot of Mia's bikini photo while trying to send her another one. She contemplates the image for some time before deciding to try an experiment.

She finds Paul's comments amusing as he opens up and admits that he currently despises Danny. He acknowledges that he likes her, but as a crow passes by her, it appears as though Amy has been startled out of her trance.

She deletes Paul's contact after becoming confused about what she is doing. He learns from Jordana's assistant that she cannot attend the meeting. Danny tries to talk to Isaac about how he felt, but he doesn't pay attention. Danny is also regretful about the fact that he consistently made the right decision, which led to his unfortunate circumstances.

While doing their therapy exercises, Amy breaks down and confesses she has been feeling blocked, lately. She tried to get help in college but it didn’t work. At times she feels if she confesses something to George, he won’t understand. He does exactly that and proves his point.

Even though he doesn’t say what she wants, Amy takes solace from his confessions. Danny talks to someone from the bank to enquire about the availability of a loan. But Danny has a bad credit score and an inconsistent stream of income which will prevent him from getting a loan in the foreseeable future. But the man thinks Danny’s church might be able to secure a plan.

She sends a photo of her legs to Paul, who is online, and asks her to FaceTime him. When she says she can’t, he sends her his phone number and Amy calls him. The deepest thing that anyone says on the phone is that she hates pretending that she doesn’t hate things.

Beef is now streaming on Netflix.
