Sonic The Hedgehog 2 picks up several years after the first movie. In the first movie, Sonic defeated the evil Dr. Robotnik.

In this new entry, Dr. Robotnik is back, and he seeks revenge on Sonic, but with a caveat.

The has a partner in crime, and this partner's name is "Knuckles."

Their goal is to locate Master Emerald so that they conquer the planet.

To save his new home, sonic must "race" to save his new home from this terrible dynamic duo.

Is This Movie Any Good?

Videogame movies have had a long history of being, for lack of a better word, TRASH.

However, Sonic (the first one and this one) has done a great job capturing Sonic's care-loving, rambunctious, heroic character.

And the fact that Knuckles is in it (voiced by one of the coolest men on the planet Idris Elba), how could anyone not want to see this movie?

This is a watch.

The legend that he is, Jim Carrey, puts on an excellent performance as usual.

Review: Watch Or Not

This is an easy answer. Sonic 2 does a great job at picking up where the last story ends.

For fans of the "Knuckles" character, they will most certainly love how he is portrayed.
