Are you familiar with the type of movies that are simplistic and seem to be mass-produced? The ones with the annoying comedy characters and the predictable plot? One such film is "Christmas Full of Grace."

You know the kind of nightmare film I'm talking about when I say "Christmas Full of Grace"? Like any depressing romantic comedy, it follows two characters who couldn't be more different but who fall in love under the most bizarre of circumstances.

Graca is the crazy pixie girl that causes the entire film to be a chore to watch because of her constant overreactions. In the meantime, Carlinhos is a complete bore who has planned out his entire life, as well as the life of his unborn and unconceived son, down to the age of 27. With protagonists like this, you know what to expect.

What you can expect instead is the usual dishonesty and lies told over the dinner table, which will be both annoying and uncalled for. It's crazy that Carlinhos acts as he cheated on Bebela, but I feel like I have to lie to my family about it. It seems unbelievable, and I don't see why someone would want to hide something so trivial.

However, it stands to reason that I would try to find logic in something that actively seeks to be illogical. Graca, overcome with terror, screams like a monkey in a chopper. Despite the fact that she may be dealing with a serial killer, she claims to be unafraid of the stranger. Stranger still, the moment she steps foot inside his family home she begins systematically destroying it while lying under the chimney and having a conversation with Santa Claus.
