This proposal leaves the Walters and Jackie in a state of shock and uncertainty. Faced with a difficult decision, Jackie ultimately chooses to stay with the Walters, acknowledging them as her chosen family.

The episode’s climax features Alex taking Jackie horseback riding, allowing her to enjoy a landscape reminiscent of a beloved view from New York.
