However, Tamara's steady trajectory is shaken when Kenzie Miyeni (Letoya Makhene-Pulumo) transfers from another branch of their company. Kenzie's presence at the office, particularly in the same cabin, adds fuel to the fire of rivalry. What further intensifies this situation is that both women have involvement in securing an important deal with a client. This event could either make or break their career within the firm.

Initially, Tamara feels threatened by Kenzie's sudden presence and her ambitious nature. Despite these apprehensions, Tamara wants to address the competition in a fair manner. However, the spotlight shines brightly on Sandile Makhoba, who essayed the role of Lawrence, Tamara's friend and colleague, and on the lead actors who bring an intense dynamic to the plot.

Despite Kenzie's disruptive actions and the disharmony she causes, her character isn't one-dimensional. The audience gets to see that Kenzie comes from a broken home and struggles with unresolved personal issues. These aspects offer some justification for her behavior, which is motivated by a burning desire to usurp the success of another woman. Despite this, these elements don't quite manage to raise the storyline above the level of standard suspense thrillers. Tamara and Kenzie, although portrayed as determined and tough professionals, outshine the others. However, their characterization doesn't delve deeper into their psyche, thus lacking a nuanced exploration.
