In the opening scene of episode four of Luna Nera, Pietro is weeping alongside Sante as he welcomes visitors who have come to pay their respects. The women debate what they have just discovered within the dwelling and speculate as to whether Sante was responsible for her demise. Ade resolves to pursue Pietro out of concern for him despite Persepolis's advice that it would be too risky.

Pietro becomes upset as the priest criticizes individuals who opted for science over religion during the burial. Ade shows up to talk to him as he bids farewell beside her grave. When she tries to explain herself, he tells her that she shouldn't be there and that he doesn't know what happened to his mother because she was getting better thanks to his medication.

The witches in the house try to persuade Ade to utilize her abilities once more to locate the other ladies. Ade finally begins to identify the screams as they all recall what happened to them in the past. The Benandante are then seen getting ready to hunt witches as we watch them leaving to rescue each of the women Ade has been hearing.

Sante returns to Serra later that night with three women and orders his guys to get them talking. While the women tend to their new guests inside the house, his son confronts him about his behavior and assures him that it won't bring his wife back. They are told by Tebe that they are not alone any longer.

When the bartender tries to get Pietro to leave, he causes a commotion as he drowns his sorrow in the establishment. When Cesaria comes to take him away, a fight breaks out. They kiss as they part ways, but Cesaria quickly stops him for the moment.
