Christmas With You, the newest holiday movie starring Aimee Gracia and Freddie Prinze Jr., is a romantic comedy that offers a light watch that is ideal for when you need background music for a festive atmosphere. Although the performer may not shout "it's the holiday season!" out loud, you will still enjoy watching.

It centers on pop star Angelina (Aimee Garcia, Lucifer), who flees her mundane existence in small-town New York to grant young fan Cristina's (Deja Monique Cruz) wish. Angelina is struggling to find inspiration, is in a fake relationship with a telenovela star, and faces the threat of becoming obsolete. She discovers not only ideas for a new hit while there, but also love (duh, it's Christmas) with the young girl's father Miguel (Freddie Prinze Jr.), who once dreamed of having his own music career. However, the actual focus of Christmas With You is the question, "How many dead parents does it take to make a Christmas movie?"

The answer to this question is two since Cristina is about to celebrate her quinceanera and Angelina is also grieving the loss of her mother. We recently witnessed that in the significantly superior Falling for Christmas (sorry, Freddie! Lindsey's outdone you), but in that instance, the effects of a mother's passing had real effects on the storyline and the players' behavior.
