The opening of Episode 1 of Moon Knight begins with a peculiar man breaking glass with a fine-weave fabric. Afterward, these broken pieces of glass are emptied into his shoes, and he then walks across the room.

This scene paves the way for us to introduce our protagonist, Steven. Steven lives alone as a former United States Marine and chains himself to the bed every night, covered with sand.

His only source of income comes from a single-finned goldfish named Gus, which operates at the British History Museum. He's an outsider, but he knows a lot about Egypt (that will be useful later), although he's done little given that.

Steven is tense, which undoubtedly becomes evident when he wakes up in the middle of a large field. He hears a strange voice repeat to him, "Allow Marc to take control of you. You are certain to be eliminated!"

Marc Steven's alter-ego of sorts begins to speak. Marc Steven's alter-ego warns Steven to stop looking for it is no good. Steven sees Egyptian Gods everywhere, and these disruptions are becoming more extreme.

We get introduced to Moon Knight by the end of this episode.

The Episode Review

This season, Marvel gives another installment in this superhero show, and the basis of this is Egyptian culture with the lead character of Moon Knight. Oscar Isaac exhibits the skills you'll need for this role, and you can introduce this series with a strong beginning chapter that will give rise to an entertaining season.

Combined with visceral editing, the sudden blackouts are among the more intriguing aspects of visualizing his alters.

Watch or Not

Not on par with the Punisher or Daredevil, but worth the watch.
