Lino explains the early appointment and when he’ll hear the results. He says positive results will mean that they’ll overcome the Cancer again.

At the appointment, they learn that the Cancer has entered Lino’s lungs. The doctor thinks Lino can recover with new medications that are available. He’s young and strong and has been free of Cancer for seven years.

Lino and Amy explain to Idalia that Lino is sick but will get better. Lino tells Zora that he has more he wants to teach Idalia and worries that the treatments reduce his time with Idalia. He wants to see her have a good life.

Zora thanks Lino for fighting the Cancer and says they all love having him around in good health or bad.

The family smuggles Idalia in to see her father Lino says he’s tired and asks Amy to go home.

Amy tells Zora about her frustration with the hospital running tests without explaining the results.

Zora is pregnant and has high blood pressure. Ken worries that she’s spending so much energy taking care of Amy that she isn’t taking care of herself.

Zora worries that Lino isn’t recovering. The doctors believe Lino needs a liver transplant, but they tell Zora different stories. Amy confronts a doctor but doesn’t learn anything.

Amy finally talks to a doctor who explains that Lino’s liver is failing and that he is dying. Lino decides he wants to have hospice care at home. Amy calls Lino's mother, Filomena. She gets advice from a child therapist about how to talk to Idalia.

They hold a small party to allow family and close friends to say goodbye. Before he dies, Lino asks Amy to take his ashes to Sicily. He tells her to find love again. View on Netflix.
