Eliza says she's going to be home alone. She'll eat a sandwich and watch tv. However, she questions whether her night alone is special because she is tired of Aaron.

Timmy notices movies are in the wrong cases, so he announces an inventory for tonight. Eliza objects, but Timmy says it’s mandatory. Other employees guilt-trip her, so she agrees. Hannah says it's like a sleepover, but Carlos should be studying for a final. Connie gets sleepy but keeps going. Eliza wants everyone to work faster.

Timmy’s mother calls and claims it's an emergency. Timmy borrows an annoyed Eliza's car. Eliza says it’s a false alarm. His parents treat Timmy like a child fighting in front of him. Timmy leaves and finds no change at the store. Carlos’s parents call and wish him well on his final. They have hopes for him.

Eliza’s annoyance with Connie’s slow speed grows. Timmy apologizes for leaving and orders pizza. His mother calls again, and he responds. Eliza gives Connie an energy drink and says Aaron puts more effort into their reconciliation. Timmy settles things between his parents and tells them not to call him unless it is a real emergency. He tells them he can’t keep walking out on his employees. His parents understand.

Connie is over-energized. Hannah and Carlos tape her and make a short film. Under the influence of the energy drink, Connie tells Eliza that Eliza is unhappy because she feels she is in a rut. Everyone secretly agrees. This upsets Eliza, and she strikes out at Timmy. Timmy tells her that he has set boundaries in his relationships. They both apologize.

Hannah encourages Carlos’s filmmaking.

Connie is sleeping in the break room. Timmy wakes her up, and she tells him Eliza isn’t happy with Aaron. Timmy gets a positive feeling.
