Elliot finds her mother holding a green bug in Episode 8 of 1899. He names the beetle Alfred, but Maura warns him not to cage it. Elliot releases the bug. As he opens his eyes, he sees the dark pyramid. Henry greets Elliot after he wakes up, showing him the monitors and saying Maura deceived everyone. Only she can get them out. Henry says, "If you're brave, I'll tell you the truth." Using a few buttons, he brings Elliot to Maura's hospital recollection.

Eyk Larsen swims to the Kerberos and questions her about what's occurring. Maura confesses her memory is wrecked, but she mentions Henry and the boy and says the world is a simulation. No one remembers boarding the ship, but the language barrier is a problem.

Every passenger with an envelope is here for a cause. Daniel tries to fix his device's electrics while they wonder what this implies. After hearing Maura's speech, everyone becomes disillusioned and departs the ship, saying they can't trust her. Eyk Larsen is the only one who stays with her after seeing the hatches.

Maura believes this reality could be a brain construct built up similarly. They find a hollow panel, torch, and pathway behind a wall. Daniel controls the ship's electrical panels to make the black metallic things grow quicker, warping rooms and corridors.

Henry shows the youngster the truth in Room 1011. Henry injects Elliot with something that puts him in another memory. Maura plans to help him while he's dying. Maura vows to help him forget so they can be together.

As Maura injects him, he remembers Henry. Maura keeps Elliot alive in a simulation. This is a Doll's House, according to Henry, made exclusively for Elliot.
