Maura awakens in a dream at the beginning of 1899's fifth episode. They lead her back into the shadows and to a room. She is tied down, given an injection, and then immediately thrown back onto the ship. She runs toward a grave with the words "Wake Up" written on the wood.

When Maura finally wakes up, she is horrified to see that every passenger has imprisoned the boy within a cabinet with a metal pipe covering the front. Sounds like the Prometheus from the first episode, doesn't it?

Something occurs as Maura advances to release the boy while also defending him. Time stops, allowing Maura to alter reality as she pleases. She grabs a bullet out of the air and scans the area bewildered.

Everyone in the room is in a state of astonishment over what has transpired as he takes her by the hand and leads her out after unfreezing time.

Krester's sexuality weighs heavily on Iben's heart like an anchor, preventing her from genuinely being able to open up and love her kid, therefore she continues to shun her sad son. As for Tove, she talks to Krester about it before grabbing the revolver and making a deliberate exit.

The lies Lucien has told to get where he is are revealed to Clemence along with the truth about Lucien. With tears streaming down his face, Lucien replies, "You are a continuous reminder of what I can't have." He is aware that since pretending to be a lieutenant, his entire life has been a lie.

Speaking of marching off, a strange ticking sound causes a commotion of crew members to start heading for the deck. The group is split in half, with those who are lucid and those who are completely attentive, as the noise reverberates.
