Kohler Smart Home Products Bring Wellbeing Home

Check out these great bath products from Kohler.

Kohler Bath

With CES almost ready to kick off, numerous consumer electronics products are ready to take center stage. However, there are a number of products unveiled at CES every year that we might not immediately think of as consumer electronics. How about faucets, bathtubs, and toilets? Probably not the first products that come to mind when you think about consumer electronics, but manufacturers like Kohler have been adding a variety of smart home features to these more traditional products that definitely give them a home at CES.

Stillness Bath

If you have ever dreamed of transforming your home bathroom into a spa-like experience, then the Stillness Bath might be in your future. This ‘experiential bath’ draws inspiration from Japanese forest bathing. Expect a mixture of water, light, fog, and aromas to provide bathers with a truly immersive journey of the senses, designed to relax your mind, soothe your body, and renew your spirit. That may sound like a tall order for a home bathtub, but the Stillness Bath aims to deliver with unique features like water filling from the bottom of the bath and then slowly overflowing into an integrated wood mote to create soothing sounds. Full spectrum lighting surrounds the tub, creating a mood. If that wasn’t enough, fog slowly covers the surface of the bath and essential oils can be added to a special ‘experience tower’ in the bath to emit a variety of aromas to delight the senses. Sounds amazing! But, realize this does come at a cost from $6,198 up to $15,998 for all the bells and whistles.

Innate Intelligent Toilet

You may not be aware, but there has been a growing interest in more advanced and feature intensive toilets in recent years. In countries like Japan, these products have become more and more popular, but they are also making inroads in the U.S. Kohler is releasing a new entry into their intelligent toilet line, called the Innate. This version will include a wide variety of features like a heated seat, auto open and close, an intuitive remote control, and personal bidet functionality. The Innate promises a lower price than other current intelligent Toilets from Kohler, but you should still be prepared for a bit of sticker shock when compared to a more typical product. The Innate will launch with a price of $3,100. Kohler will also be adding touchless technology to some of its toilets in 2021.

Touchless Residential Bathroom Faucet

Speaking of touchless, Kohler’s touchless bathroom faucet delivers hands-free activation and deactivation. The company will also launch an integrated faucet with various embedded sensors, along with a remote that allows for a retrofit solution add-on to any Kohler single control bathroom faucet.

Bathroom tech has come a long way and will continue to evolve in 2021. Check out CES for a variety of products from Kohler and other manufacturers.
