It appears Apple has discontinued the production and sale of the Beats Pill Plus speaker.
The portable Bluetooth speaker known famously for its pill-like shape was a product coming from an Apple and Dr. Dre Beats collaboration.
The product has disappeared from both Apple and Beats websites.
However, there’s no information out there on why the product was discontinued. It was available as recently as January 5th of this year for $180.
The Beats Pill Plus was first released in 2015 following Apple’s acquisition of Beats, which famously produced the Beats by Dre headphones a few years prior.
