In addition to a brand-new original series called “Welcome to Chippendales,” a new FX series called “Fleishman is in Trouble,” and a ton of new original documentaries, this November, Hulu is preparing for a strong month of content.
Greetings to Chippendales
“Welcome to Chippendales,” a vast true-crime thriller, recounts the bizarre tale of Somen “Steve” Banerjee, an Indian foreigner who unwittingly became the founder of the largest male-stripping empire in the world—and who let nothing block his path in the process. Kumail Nanjiani, Juliette Lewis, Murray Bartlett, and Annaleigh Ashford are the show’s regular cast members. Robin de Jess, Quentin Plair, Andrew Rannells, and Nicola Peltz Beckham frequently appear as guests.
Fleishman of FX is in difficulty
In “Fleishman Is in Trouble,” Jesse Eisenberg plays “Toby Fleishman,” a newly divorced 41-year-old who plunges into the different scary era of app-based courting with the kind of enthusiasm he never experienced dating in his youth until he did get married after medical school. But just as he is beginning his first summertime of sexual expression, his ex-wife “Rachel” (Claire Danes) vanishes, leaving him with the children Hannah, 11, and Solly, 9, and no indication of her whereabouts or whether she intends to make a comeback.
