Cassie attends the funeral of Alex with her gay coworker Shane, whom she fails to inform about the nature of the event until they arrive.
It strikes me as the most extended and most involved humorous sequence in the series, as she seems willing to use others just for no real reason.
She really is a ditz.
The Flight Attendant Season 1 Episode 3 Recap
Of course, she’s there to pressure Alex’s mother for information since she owns a substantial portion of the company that seems to be essential in all the various goings-on. But approaching a funeral, she’s hardly avoidable.
The episode introduced Cassie at an early age as somewhat unreliable as far as familiarity and respectability are concerned.
Part of her story has been concerned with precisely that flaw that she has shown over time.
The question now is whether Cassie’s corrupt behavior transfers to others, including Megan, who’s starting to become involved in corporate espionage.
Lawbreaking is becoming commonplace, and the feeling that everything is rapidly spiraling out of control is increasingly difficult to ignore for Cassie.
The Flight Attendant Season 1 Episode 3 Review: Watch Or Pass
Cassie makes certain presidents we have had look like “Einstein.” She continues to make stupid decisions.
Yet, again, another “okay” episode.
3 out of 5.
