It is 2022, and viewers are introduced to a smart, driven, and what seems to be a renaissance woman who is learning Mandarin. She is noticeably driven, telling everyone and anyone who will listen about her dream of becoming a billionaire one day.
How will she do this?
By inventing a brand-new revolutionary medical technology that will change the world for the better.
Or so it may seem.
The Setting
The filmmakers do a great job capturing the magic of College, where opportunities seem endless. Young Elizabeth is like a little Mark Zuckerberg in the making, pushing her way into graduate classes and impressing Professor Robertson (Bill Irwin).
The Episodes Ending
She pitches her first idea to Phyllis Gardner (Laurie Metcalf The Big Bang Theory and Lady Bird), an inventor Elizabeth admires. The Professor is cooperative, though not as warm when suggesting input to her idea. However, Elizabeth is undaunted and continues to work on her latest invention.
Overall Feelings So Far
This is just the first episode, but it has me hooked. Watching the making of a billionaire and seeing what she will do to get there, what lines she will cross.
The issue is also VERY topical; affordable healthcare has always been an issue for many people, and not just in America.
So far, this show has me hooked; just waiting to see if it can line me in now.
