Every kid should experience the feeling of awe and wonder when watching a Disney movie. The catchy songs, eloquent storytelling, and unique characters are suitable for kids of all ages - and adults too!
Below is a list of some of our favorite Disney classics!
Alice of Wonderland
This 1951 animated adaptation of Alice and Red Queen is gorgeous, enjoyable, and - like with all excellent cartoons - a little spooky. Ignore Johnny Depp with his drooping stove-pipe hat. If your child doesn't adore the singing flowers (Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, or anybody?), they will undoubtedly adore the insect and his hookah. Who are you, exactly?
Mary Poppins
Few things are more calming than a melodious Julie Andrews swooping down with her large black umbrella, coming just in the moment to mend everything and tidy the room. This movie is sheer magic and delight, which is probably just what you need right now.
Pete's Dragon
Mickey Rooney spends the majority of the movie portraying a drunken fool, and the effects are beyond hilariously terrible. This means: it's a genuine classic! Although there is a nice new edition of this story, kids still enjoy this movie since it is a bit grim. Your child will enjoy the moment in which everyone dances on rotating beer kegs in this goofy gem.
The Black Stallion
This inspiring and uplifting tale of a shipwrecked young boy who encounters a wild Arabian horse and goes on to earn racing success is based on the beloved children's book. Sounds a bit crazy. But if you get it through to the finish without crying, you must be made of stone.
The Princess and the Frog
There is a lot to appreciate about this princess story set in New Orleans. Everything about it is beautiful, from the music to the hand-drawn animation to the steamboats and streetcars, and the protagonist is also strong and motivational.
