As Kitty and Ozzie work on the computer, they encounter some technical difficulties. This gives them plenty of time to chat. Leia tries to feel out Kitty's stance on homosexuality, without revealing Ozzie’s intentions of coming out to Kitty. As they discuss various topics, Kitty mistakes Leia’s probing for an attempt at a heart-to-heart about sex. She becomes awkward and uncomfortable and then calls Donna telling her that Leia was planning to have sex. When Donna shows up, Leia notices that Ozzie is still uneasy about coming out and decides to play dumb and pretend that she wanted advice about her sex plans. Donna falls for it and even gives Leia condoms to ensure she has protected sex if she decides to.

Meanwhile, Leia is struggling with her feelings for Jay. In the previous episode, she pretended that they were just friends, and now she is regretting it. She wants to tell Jay how she really feels, but she is too nervous to do it directly. Instead, she confides in Gwen and shares her jealousy about Jay's tight t-shirt. Gwen offers her support and suggests that Leia take it slow with Jay.

Gwen and Nikki bond over their mutual feelings of being left out of the boys’ adventure. The boys have gone out in pursuit of an ad about a free hot tub. Nikki had arranged a glamor shoot for herself and Nate. But, when Nate goes off with Jay, Gwen, and Nikki decide to take the shots together. They laugh and joke around, smoking pot and enjoying each other's company. The bond between Gwen and Nikki becomes stronger, and they start to feel like real friends. In an attempt to amuse Gwen, Nikki even says that she feels better when having the shots with her than with Nate.

Jay and Nate’s attempt to get a free hot tub turns out to be a bust, as the owner is an old lady who lures men and harasses them. She gets with them in the hot tub and her intentions only come out through her granddaughter, who tells Jay about her. Jay, being the suave guy he is, agrees to go on a date with the granddaughter. When he runs into Leia after the date, she wants to tell him how she really feels, but she is too late. Serena walks in asking Jay if he was ready for their date. Clearly, Jay likes another girl, and Leia is sad.

In the end, Ozzie decides to come out to Kitty via email but Kitty is still not well acquainted with the computer so she does not know that way. Ozzie has to deliver the news in person and contrary to his expectations, Kitty takes the news supportively. Leia doesn't get the chance to tell Jay how she feels. Despite Gwen and Nikki's bond seeming stronger, the next day they feel awkward as they are no longer intoxicated. Jay seems happy with his new love interest, and Red is caught red-handed by Kitty using the computer that he was so much against. Despite the missed opportunities, the characters learn valuable lessons about relationships and the importance of communication.
