Netflix’s original series, Stranger Things, is coming back for the fourth and final season. If you need a refresher on what happened in the first three seasons before the new one comes out, here’s a quick recap.
In the first season of Stranger Things, we were introduced to the characters of Hawkins, Indiana, and followed their adventures as they searched for their friend Will who had mysteriously disappeared. Along the way, they discovered that there was something strange going on in Hawkins and that Will was being held captive by some kind of monster. They eventually found Will and defeated the monster, but not before Eleven (one of the kids) destroyed it with her psychic powers.
In the second season of Stranger Things, we found out that Hawkins was not the only town with these monsters and that there was a whole other world going on that Eleven had been connected to.
In the third season of Stranger Things, our story progresses through different branches in the first chapters. The quartet of Dustin, Steve, Robin, and Erica were busy decoding a Russian-language signal they’ve captured. Jim Hooper and Joyce embarked on an investigation into what might be after magnets that have lost their stickiness. Nancy and Jonathan, went to visit an old woman after an incoming phone call and begin to examine rats that behave strangely. Eleven, Mike, Will, Lucas, and Max chased after Billy, who had transformed.
