Queen Charlotte - Season 1, Episode 6 Recap

Princess Augusta learns that Young Charlotte fired Doctor Monro in the Georgian timeline. The Dowager tries to reassure anxious lords that she is still in charge, but the King and Queen still keep her hidden. King George tries to shove Charlotte away once more. But this time, the tenacious Queen won't leave. The two then make love to one another public. Later, Augusta pays an unexpected visit to Kew Palace and requests a meeting with the King.

Given that George doesn't want to see his mother, the Queen refuses to allow her to meet the King. Augusta reminds Charlotte of her duties as queen before she departs. The King is persuaded by Charlotte to accompany her back to Buckingham Palace. As George prepares to address Parliament while there, the Queen gives birth to the heir. Brimsley and Reynolds take pleasure in being close to one another in Buckingham Palace while serving their respective monarchs.

When he's supposed to give a speech, His Majesty freezes and can't get out of the carriage. Following her partner, who is hiding under the bed, after learning the news, Charlotte goes there. She says she will adore him after that, flaws and all. Agatha worries about what the future might hold for her. When asked about the Queen, she also doesn't provide any information to Augusta. To prevent Charlotte from becoming upset, she also avoids bringing up the subject of her inheritance.

The Queen's brother briefly courted young Danbury. After that, he proposes to her. Agatha hesitates to take up the offer. She still harbours resentment toward Lord Ledger for ending their brief romance, as we learn. The Viscountess confesses to Lady Danbury that she is considering getting married in the present. Then, in Lady Danbury's living room, she finds a paper hat that her father had created. While Violet offers an invitation to Lady Danbury, Agatha thwarts her attempts to find out the truth.

Lord Ledger's paper hats, some of which are in Lady Danbury's room at Violet's, when she arrives. The stressful interaction leads to an unspoken but shared agreement between the two women. The marriage arrangements made by Queen Charlotte eventually succeed. Victoria, his new wife, and Prince Edward are expecting a child. Charlotte is happy that a strong queen would rule her realm when Edward predicts that the kid will likely be a girl. Throwing a ball is the King and Queen. George's appearance in front of the public secures his throne. After being inspired by Charlotte's successes, Princess Augusta ultimately gives up control of her son and expresses her gratitude to Her Majesty for keeping him content.

The young Agatha rejects Adolphus' offer. Away from the onlookers, Brimsley and Reynolds engage in a passionate dance. In the meantime, the Queen meets Agatha. She chastises Lady Danbury for harming Adolphus before confronting her for not asking the Crown for help with her inheritance worries. Queen Charlotte visits her husband in the present day. She hides under the King's bed with him, assisting him in returning to reality. He praises her and takes Charlotte's hand as she continues to share the wonderful news with him. They appear to be in love as they enjoy this lovely moment together.
