People vs. OJ Simpson Episode 8 Recap
The jury members begin to have cabin fever and get worked up during sequestration. A few jury members are excused because they had lied on their survey or had had some connection with Simpson.
The defense and attorneys begin to look at nominating alternates who they believe will vote in Simpson’s favor after the verdict. The glove debacle engenders polls showing increased support for Simpson’s evidence.
Clark’s evidence and the multiple doubts that come with it circulate once again when brought forward in court. Even a dedicated Kardashian is starting to question Simpson’s story. The unflappable Cochran and the no less unflappable Shapiro don’t appear to have any qualms.
DNA evidence expert Barry Scheck downplays the DNA evidence that shows he might have planted it. This was a historic occasion for the use of DNA evidence, and most people did not understand it would become so concrete.
Watch Or Not
This episode was yet another great watch. Shifting away from race, gender, and politics (to an extent) and entering into somewhat of a CSI Miami-Esque episode, this was a great watch to see how detectives and investigators were trying to prove their case.
As someone who loves investigative science these mediums, this was a great episode.
