In episode one, the ending of “The People v. O.J. Simpson,” we left O.J.Simpson (played by Cuba Gooding Jr.) zooming down a California highway in a white Ford F-150, attempting to put some distance between himself and a sticky situation developing at his Brentwood, California home.
Simpson had been fingered as the prime suspect in the double murder of his spouse, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her boyfriend, Ron Goldman. Prosecutor Marcia Clark suspected him until his underlying motivation was unmasked, triggering his emotional breakdown and creating what is now known as O.J. Simpson.

Episode two, “The Run of His Life,” opens with a shot showing Kardashian perched on the edge of his bathtub and praying for O.J.’s safety. This contrast to Shapiro’s ego, which blustered throughout the search for his colleague. Kardashian is not M.I.A. for long; he reports to Shapiro’s office, bringing an apparent suicide letter Simpson left before making his remarkable comeback.

Cuba Gooding Jr once again puts on a BRILLIANT performance.
