Ruth is concerned about leaving her old life behind with Wyatt in season 7. However, Ruth encounters a setback; Wyatt announces that he will be marrying Darlene so that Zeke won’t wind up in a foster home. She is aghast and messages Darlene dangerous.
But Wyatt’s made up his mind, so Ruth decries Frank Junior against killing Darlene. At that point, Frank Junior supplies that he will not kill Darlene. Ruth thinks it would be good if Frank Jr. ran his father’s company. Ruth is surprised by Frank Jr.’s agreement not to touch her.
Part 1 of the narrative is emotionally powerful and suspenseful, particularly as it relates to Julia Garner’s performance of Ruth.
