Episode 12 opens with Jonah picking up the hungover Charlotte. They head to the local police station and bail out Marty along with Wendy after Marty attacked a man.

Wendy tries to justify to Marty keeping Camila engaged when they’re home, but Marty does not feel more compelled to drive this into her. Wendy decides to tell Marty that she can’t do this anymore. It sounded like Wendy was manipulating Marty.
Meanwhile, Mel informs Nathan that he believes Ben was involved in criminal activity when he disappeared. He reasons it has connections to the actor Marty and Wendy because the FBI investigates them for money laundering.
Rachel and Ruth meet Charles Wilkes to reach a business bargain with him. He believes that if he can remove Ruth’s criminal record of criminal offenses, a judge will side with him.
Rachel thinks Ruth can benefit from the clean slate and claims that the move is essential. Ruth meets with the judge and manages to affect her son amicable.
The ending watches Wendy’s actions bringing about the breakdown of the family. Her death is slow-moving.
