Our Favorite Ryan Murphy Shows Ranked

It goes without saying that Ryan Murphy is a master at writing stories that keep us on the edge of our seats and compel us to watch them season after season. So, along with information on where to view each series, we created a list of Murphy's top television programs.

Read on for information on anything from Glee to American Horror Story.

Glee

The glee club at McKinley High School is proudly run by Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison), who also serves as a safe haven for kids to feel accepted. Together, the group faces out against bullies, stereotypes, and Sue Sylvester, the deceitful cheerleading coach (Jane Lynch), who is out to ruin the club.

American Crime Story

American Crime Story is an anthology program, like AHS, although it differs from AHS in that it dramatizes actual events. For instance, The People v. O. J. Simpson is the title of the first season, while The Assassination of Gianni Versace is the title of the second.

Ratched

Nurse Mildred Ratched, a character from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, served as an inspiration for the series (Sarah Paulson). Ratched, which takes place in the 1940s, follows a young asylum nurse as she quietly grows angry toward her patients and ultimately lets out a monster evil.

American Horror Story

Since American Horror Story is an anthology series, every season features a completely new plot that explores a different horrific theme. Murder House is the first installment, and the others are Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoke, Cult, Apocalypse, and 1984.
