Ever wondered if there's a romantic comedy where love comes to life in form of a sundae? Netflix's holiday romantic comedy "Hot Frosty" is set to answer that question. Lacey Chabert, the queen of Christmas movies, stars in the film as a widow named Kathy, who gives life to a sizzling hot snowman, potrayed by "Schitt’s Creek” alum Dustin Milligan. The snowman, with his wholesome innocence, teaches Kathy to re-embrace laughter, feeling, and love, as they fall for each other in festive fervor… and before he turns into a puddle.
In a fun twist, the trailer ends with Chabert's character watching Lindsay Lohan’s 2023 Netflix holiday film “Falling for Christmas,” and playfully asserting that it reminds her of a school crush.
The talented ensemble of performers also includes Joe Lo Truglio, Craig Robinson, Katy Mixon Greer, Lauren Holly, and others. Jerry Ciccoritti directed "Hot Frosty" from a script by Russell Hainline.
"Hot Frosty" is dropping on Netflix on November 13. The streaming platform is unveiling a new holiday romance every Wednesday this November, including the Christina Milian’s "Meet Me Next Christmas" on Nov. 6, "The Merry Gentlemen" with Chad Michael Murray and Britt Robertson on Nov. 20, and Lindsay Lohan's "Our Little Secret" on Nov. 27.
Netflix's holiday line-up also showcases NFL’s two Christmas Day top matches, a Christmas-themed thriller “Carry On," an animated film "That Christmas," a holiday detective series helmed by Keira Knightley called "Black Doves," and the Sabrina Carpenter special “A Nonsense Christmas”. Betting on love and laughter these holidays, don’t miss the "Hot Frosty" trailer.
