Episode 6 of Moon Knight begins this season finale with Steven’s dead bodies being picked up by Harrow in the crypt.
He apologizes to Eriksson and Stephenson, saying that sometimes it is necessary to experience dead people before you can see the truth in the shadows.
Even after Arthur and his group leave, Layla rushes out of the shadows and picks up the scarab pointing toward Amit’s resting place.
Moonknight Episode 6 Recap
As Harrow progresses and destroys the other Gods’ Avatars, Layla flees and grabs the small statue of Khonshu. Tawaret agrees this statue may bring back Marc Steven.
With Marc away, Khonshu tries to seduce Layla to become his avatar. Layla refuses since the demanding God insists that they rebind the dead Amit. The same Amit whom Harrow has released in the main chamber.
Marc and Steven enthusiastically rush through the gates, resulting in Steven returning to the living. He becomes Khonshu’s avata5r and this time becomes the Moon Knight.
For Layla, she becomes Falcon and saves Steven as he is overwhelmed by the Harrow.
Finale
The final fight begins, with Steven and Layla jointly protecting Harrow.
Layla and Steven both share Harrow’s body while trapping Amit inside him for a while now. The only way to permanently end this is to kill Harrow. Khonshu wants him to kill the old man, but Steven does not want to. He also wants to be free as well, which God allows.
Marc Steven returns to their home, and the story concludes, or does it?
Review
The final fight was excellent, but the ending felt very rushed. This show overall gets a 3.5 out of 5.
In my opinion, it is not on the caliber of Punisher or Daredevil.
