Episode 4 of Moon Knight begins with Layla desperate for Steven to wake up, who is still asleep in the sand from all the Khonshu attacks that occurred last week.
Khonsu is caught and kept within the pyramid, prompting Layla to follow in a car loaded with many goons. Layla fires a flare and throws it at the jeep, after which the bullets explode and save the situation.
As Steven awakens, the couple drives off in their jeep and heads out to the excavation site, where they discover it abandoned.

Marc informs Steven that without Khonshu, there s bad news for everybody. There’s no healing or fancy suits, and Marc wants to control.
Steven denies giving his body up but tells Layla that Marc had prevented her from turning into an avatar at the hands of Khonshu.
Choosing honesty is the best medication, and their conversation soon turns into an uncomfortable kiss.
As they descend into this labyrinth, they conclude that the whole of it is a symbol of some pattern. A pattern modeled after the Eye of Horus, which guards the afterlife.
Marc’s partner grows greedy and kills everyone present at Marc’s excavation site. Marc tried to save him, but it was too late, as he was shot.
Marc finally reveals that this was the primary motivation for their meeting since they met.
Marc goes on a trip through the psych ward, freeing Steven from his sarcophagus in one of many rooms out of sight. There is yet another in the same area; someone on the inside is pounding to get out.
