2020 has brought major changes to the movie going experience, with theaters closed or running at partial capacity for months. Lots of movies have had their release dates pushed back into 2021 and even 2022. But, that doesn’t mean we won’t have any new movies to watch over the holidays.
Check out these upcoming releases before January 1, 2021.
Free Guy - December 11
An action-comedy, starring Ryan Reynolds as an extra character in the video game universe who just might turn into a main character. This film is planned to be released in theaters.
Coming 2 America - December 18
The LONG awaited sequel to Eddie Murphy’s Coming to America comedy classic from 1988 will reunite Murphy with Arsenio Hall from the original film. This film is planned to be released in theaters.
Wonder Woman 1984 - December 25
The sequel to the mega-hit Wonder Woman, is scheduled to release on Christmas Day. It is planned for a theatrical release, but rumors persist that it might push into 2021 or be released on-demand. Stay tuned.
Soul - December 25
Pixar’s latest animated film will take viewers on a jazz-inspired adventure starring the voices of Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, Angela Bassett and others. The film will be released on Disney Plus on Christmas this year.
