Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution unit of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, has secured the global VOD rights for the feature film "Global Harmony". The film has performed impressively on the film festival circuit, winning awards such as "Best Feature Film" at the Los Angeles-Italia Film Festival and the Santa Fe Film Festival, as well as the "Best Social Message" award at the Listapad International Film Festival.
"Global Harmony" follows the journey of Richard Foster, a rich, award-winning journalist who abandons his family's business empire to launch the Global Harmony Foundation. The aim of this foundation is to advocate for equality and justice, and usher in global unity. The film will be available for renting or owning on DVD and all digital HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms worldwide, as of January 24.
"Global Harmony" is written and directed by Fabio Massa, featuring a talented cast including Morgan David Jones, Rasha Bilal, Maria Garza Cucinotta, Tomas Arana, Randall Paul, and more. Massa expressed pride in making the film which spotlights the issue of illegal child trafficking while highlighting the need for enhanced global cooperation, especially given the numerous crises and divisions plaguing humanity today.
In other news, Freestyle Digital Media has also obtained the North American VOD rights for the musical feature 'Riot on Redchurch Street–Director’s Cut', set to be available for rental or purchase from January 28.
Meanwhile, Angel Studios will distribute the "Breaking Into Beautiful" documentary, touching on the life of Kim White, one of the first "illness influencers". Kim earned a massive Instagram following by bravely sharing her cancer journey. The documentary paints a detailed picture of Kim's life, her unwavering strength, and her deep influence on her followers and everyone around her, demonstrating that hope and beauty can be found, even in suffering.
