FUBAR’s episode 8 stages a nail-biting climax. Emma gets stuck and ends up confronting Boro amidst the wreckage of a nuclear suitcase, with flames barring their escape. Boro, wounded and wielding a pipe, seems to know more about Emma's past and her connection to the violin. Emma convinces him they need to collaborate for their survival, promising him freedom in return.

Below, in the tunnels, Roo aids an injured Aldon while Luke attempts to reach Emma and Boro in the east wing. He is aware that time is not on his side and informs Director Dot that Emma's survival chances post the blast are slim, but is undeterred.
While Luke surges towards the surface with a metal pipe, Morse code communications confirm Emma's survival. Luke lets her know they need to evacuate in less than ten minutes.
Simultaneously, Roo battles her childhood trauma while trying to operate on Aldon. Encouragement from Dr Pfeffer helps her conquer her fear and succeed in her mission.
As Roo and Aldon make their exit, Emma, inspired by Luke, imparts the same wisdom to Boro. However, she and Luke betray Boro, escaping the vents and leaving him behind in an exploding facility.
A guilt-ridden Emma apologizes to her father and patches up with Roo on their way back, while Luke regrets not doing enough to prevent Boro's downfall.

At the church, an unexpected turn of events transpires when armed guards storm the venue. Emma, Barry, and Luke work together to fend them off. It is during this encounter that Tina is speaking Russian, leading to speculation about her being Volek's mole.
Amidst the chaos, Boro, who miraculously survived the blast, holds Tally at gunpoint. He forces Emma and Luke into a standoff, but Tally seizes the opportunity to attack Boro. Luke's group, now exposed, are forced to evacuate.
The season ends on a suspenseful note, as the group's compromised identities put them in the crosshairs of several terrorists and gangsters, leading to a potential high-stakes evasion game, reminiscent of John Wick 3.
