During their conversation, Sylvie tries not to talk about work with Cadault because he doesn't know that he's about to be fired from his own label and replaced by Gregory. She makes a date with Gregory while she is still in the Grateau office. He seems a little sad and disappointed that Cadault is still alive. Once he tells us about his past, we can't help but feel sorry for him. Gregory confirms that he was once caught on camera "enjoying fellatio al fresco". When Emily goes to see Cadault in the hospital, she calls Nicolas and asks him to wait to announce Gregory as the new leader of the line until Cadault is out of the hospital. He isn't on board, so Emily tells Sylvie. Then, Sylvie gets ready to talk to Louis de Leon, Nicolas's dad and the head of the JVMA, in order to solve the problem on her own. She asks him to put off the official statement so that Cadault can leave his brand with grace. But, he refuses and says that Nicolas will make the final decision.
Also, when Sylvie asks him a question, he says that she is just as "feisty and beautiful" now as she was when she was his assistant. Sylvie, who is good at playing the game, says she "remembers everything" about working with Louis and makes it sound like she found him creepy. After she subtly blackmails him, they come to an agreement. He says he'll hold off on the official statement for now.
After Mindy's performance at the music venue that night, it seems like Emily, Mindy, and Nicolas are talking. Nicolas confronts Emily about Sylvie talking to his dad about putting off the Cadault updates. Nicolas gets angry and tells Emily that it's up to him when and how to tell the public. After that, Emily leaves Nicolas and Mindy alone.
Gabriel sends Emily a text message asking her to go get a drink while she is on her way home. She answers, and he is sitting on the bank of the river drinking Japanese whisky. He tells Camille that he thinks she is having an affair after seeing a picture of her in Greece with Sofia and a few men at a club. He keeps telling her things, including that he thinks Camille never chose to forgive him. Then he tells Emily that he fell in love with her the moment he saw her.
Emily tells him to call a cab and go home when he talks to her. Gabriel keeps drinking whisky while in the backseat of the car. He tells Emily and Camille that he loves them both, but Emily takes him back to his flat before he can say anything else while drunk.
The next day, Emily tells Sylvie that Nicolas was angry about what she said to his dad and that he plans to make a press release about Gregory that night. Sylvie realizes that she needs to tell Cadault, so she and Emily go to see him. He looks upset, which is understandable.
