Deep Water is about a well-off husband who allows his wife to have affairs, not to get a divorce– but he later becomes the prime suspect in the disappearance of her lovers.
For some, this synopsis may excite many, but for others, they may question the credulity of something like this happening in real life.
Either way, is this movie that was dumped on Hulu watchable? Let’s find out.
What’s It About
Based on the 1957 novel, the movie explores how a well-off man allows his wife to have affairs just so that they can remain in their crippling marriage.
Now, this is not solely for appearance reasons; the couple has a daughter, which is one of the principal reasons the husband allows his wife to have affairs.
However, the wife’s many lovers start to be killed, and of course, the husband is the prime suspect in these disappearances and murders.
Watch It Or Not
This suspense story is not too far-fetched, and I found myself genuinely interested in the ending.
If you are into mystery and suspense movies, this is a movie that you will want to give a watch.
This movie gets a solid B-; it is definitely worth the watch.
