Ten years after Netflix first introduced its "Daredevil" series, Charlie Cox reprises his role as the blind, masked vigilante in the Disney+ series, "Daredevil: Born Again". Venturing further into the life and struggles of Matt Murdock (Cox), the new show highlights how venomous rage can threaten to consume him. As he grapples with Wilson Fisk a.k.a. Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio), who has shockingly become the mayor of New York City, our hero is forced to transform under the pressures of life and time.
The revival, conceived by Dario Scardapane, reunites us with some familiar faces while introducing new ones. A seemingly carefree celebration at Josie’s Bar abruptly descends into chaos and forever alters Matt's life. A year later, Matt, leaving Daredevil behind, is determined to rebuild his life, starting with a new criminal law practice. However, with Fisk’s ambition threatening New York, Matt's suppressed rage starts to manifest.
"Daredevil: Born Again" provides a fascinating look at the dynamics of villains like Fisk and his influential wife, Vanessa (Ayelet Zurer). Their union, strained by Fisk's political dreams and contrasting styles of leadership, leaves one questioning their true intentions.

The series also exposes the breathtaking decay of power and the frightening speed at which corruption can spread. Fisk's determination for complete control becomes evident as he strategically positions loyalists and suppresses opposition, even going as far as ensnaring innocents like Heather and budding journalist BB Urich (Genneya Walton) in his web of control.
The series brilliantly portrays New York City as an essential character, reflecting the city’s grit, unique culture, and citizens, all while coping with the looming terror of a notorious serial killer on the loose.
"Daredevil: Born Again" notably stands apart from the stereotypical revival. It artfully revisits a known hero's journey through a more profound and intense narrative that weaves new challenges for him to confront. "Daredevil: Born Again" premieres its first two episodes on Disney+ on March 4, with new episodes to follow weekly on Tuesdays.
