Hulu has been home run after home run with these episodes. The story of Candy Montegomery and the act of murdering her best friend because of an affair she was having is a story you can’t write.
The performance by Jessica Biel is without a doubt the hallmark of the show.

The final episode of this series delves into the argument and reason behind Candy’s actions.
Betty was her best friend, and killing her in such a brutal fashion caused quite the uproar, as it should.
The psychologist told her that what she did was overkill and may be due to suppressed anger inside her.
But this seems to be deflection. While she was having an affair, she was still chumming it up with Betty.
She was the one who caught feeling when they had both agreed that catching feelings was something they would not do.
Much to the surprise of those not familiar with this case, Candy gets off scot-free and can walk out of the courtroom a free woman.
However, her marriage falls apart because of this whole ordeal.

This was an excellent series, and this last episode will indeed cause an uproar amongst the viewer base.
