Bosch: Legacy Season 1 Episode 1 Recap

Harry and Maddie Bosch, a father-daughter team, are the subjects of Bosch: Legacy. Harry recently departed the LAPD and is currently employed as a private detective. In order to follow in her father's footsteps and become a legacy officer with the LAPD, Maddie is now in the training portion of her career. Defense lawyer Honey "Money" Chandler keeps running into Harry and Maddie.

One more night

Maddie gets "one more night" of training with Officer O'Neill, just like the song of the same name playing in the background (sung by Michael Kiwanuka). Two suspects who got out of their car became the target of their pursuit. One of the males was pursued by Maddie, who eventually tackled and handcuffed the suspect.

Officer O'Neill criticizes Maddie for drifting away from him rather than praising her. He asserts ownership of the suspect she detained and claims to be writing her up.

Harry, Private Investigator

The task of removing a music box from a safe has been given to Bosch.

Even though Coltrane is not present, Harry calls to the dog as he strolls through a neighborhood at night. Harry is only being included as part of a neighborhood trick.

Harry scales a fence to gain entry to the home. Harry is receiving assistance from the outside as he deciphers the safe's code. Harry takes the music box out of the safe after opening it. When he checks the box's contents by opening it, the music starts to play inside.

After been awakened by the music box, Harry is now trapped in the living room while the homeowner arrives. Loud music starts playing from the other room just as we start to believe Harry will be apprehended. Harry leaves unseen as a result of the homeowner's distraction.
