A film made by Adam Berg, Black Crab, reveals the stories of six soldiers who must bring peace to an artillery battle. War is always an excellent theme for almost any story, and in this Swedish thriller, this concept of bringing peace to a land that has known nothing but war keeps you hanging on to your seat.
What Is Black Crab About
Netflix’s “Black Crab” is an action-thriller (and dramatic) movie that is set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by war. In a long, cold year, six heroic soldiers embark on a secret covert op mission across a frozen archipelago – all while risking each of their lives to haul a mysterious package that could potentially bring peace to the land. They have no idea what dangers await them or who they can trust on hostile terrain.
Watch It Or Not
This is probably one of the most remarkable Swedish films of late. As usual, Noomi Rapace is so strong in her role that I cannot describe Adam Berg’s direction of the picture.
This science fiction film would sound like your blockbuster with a huge budget, except it is more like the world we’re currently facing today. There’s even some irony that the story took place in Ukraine.
This is a movie everyone should see to realize the horrors of war and a parent’s eagerness and resistance to high-tech weaponry and militaries for their child’s love.
Final Words
This movie is worth your time. The theme of war, unfortunately, will never get old, and the cinematography excellently captures the horrors of war. This is definitely a watch.
