Review: 5 best Trader Joe's finds

When I saw people all over social media raving about their Trader Joe’s finds, I had to be a part of the hype. After trying the products, I have many thoughts on them.

Read our review and learn what all the hype is about!

Spinach and Kale Greek Yogurt Dip

When I first saw this dip I was a little skeptical. I have heard that greek yogurt is a good and healthy alternative to sour cream, but my love for sour cream runs deep. Then, I took my first bite of this dip and I’m not sure if I will go to normal spinach dip. It was delicious and refreshing. I scarfed down so many chips with it and felt satisfied rather than like I overindulged. The creamy spinach, kale, and greek yogurt combo go great with the crunch of onion and tomatoes. This dip goes great with pita chips, tortilla chips, carrots, and other veggies. Rate: 9/10

Pork & Ginger Snap Dumplings

I would eat these for every meal of the day if I could. Once you try them, you will become addicted. Some on social media have even referenced these as their “sad meal,” giving ice cream and chips a run for their money. The pack comes with 6 dumplings and they heat up in the microwave in 1 minute and 30 seconds. When I ate these, they were accompanied by a side of stir fry. It was a great combination! Rate: 10/10

Hashbrowns

These hashbrowns remind me of the days when my mom would stop and get me breakfast at McDonald’s before school. That’s right, they are almost an exact replica of McDonald’s hashbrowns and have that crispy taste that leaves your taste buds dancing with happiness. I have seen food influencers use the hashbrowns as a makeshift bun and put eggs, bacon, and sausage in between. I have yet to try this combination but I hope to soon! One downside is that they can take a while to cook and sometimes do not fill you up. Not great if you are on the go. Rate: 8/10

Chili Onion Crunch Sauce

Everyone raves about this sauce, and I understand the hype. While this is not my number one choice on the Trader Joe’s list, it is delicious. Influencers often use this sauce in over-easy eggs or on top of avocado toast. It has a sweet taste similar to sweet chili sauce. I am not a huge fan of sweets so I don’t use the sauce often, but when I do, I like to put some on top of white rice. Rate: 6/10

Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips - Chili and Lime

Yes, yes, and yes! These are my go-to snacks. Some would call them Taki knock-offs, but I call them a much better alternative. Not only are they healthier, but the spicy/sour ting does not leave your mouth. They are also healthier and I do not need a huge glass of water by my side to diffuse the fire erupting in my mouth. Rate: 10/10

Run, don’t walk to your local Trader Joe’s and get your hands on these delicious dishes. You won’t regret it!
